Who are we?

Born out of a 10-year research project with Lancaster University’s linguistic and cyber security departments, Relative Insight originally designed its technology to support the UK government identify paedophiles masquerading as children online - heavy but important work!

Our technology is based on comparison - so if you take a group of 13-year olds talking online, you'll see that the language they use is very similar. If you compare that to how a 40-year-old adult man talks, you'll notice very specific but subtle differences.

So today, we apply the same methods of language comparison to uncover crucial and unexpected differences in the way people talk. This then helps organisations inform new strategies to interact and communicate more effectively with their audiences.

What does the role involve?

As a member of the marketing team, you'll be responsible for promoting and amplifying the amazing work and content that Relative Insight produces out in the world to drive awareness, brand, demand generation and partnerships.

You will be responsible for shaping a brand-new PR strategy for the Relative brand as well as key stakeholders namely the CEO and CRO - working in conjunction with the director of marketing.

We’re looking for someone with a real passion for tech, who has strong written and verbal communication skills and a bulging contact book of media contacts and influencers in our space in both the UK and the USA with a focus on London and New York. You’ll also need a thorough experience of the B2B SaaS landscape and a proven track record of delivering results in trade, national and global media, as well as social platforms.

Inter-personal skills are vital for developing relationships with media representatives, handling difficult situations and advising people within the organisation. You will need speaking and presentation skills and the ability to organise, plan, execute and measure a successful PR campaign.

Must haves:
