Relative Insight is a SaaS based text analysis tool which analyses our customer’s text data like surveys, reviews, customer experience and social, to reveal critical business insights.

The software leverages a comparative methodology developed in law-enforcement to give transformative insights, meaning our customers can make smarter and more informed decisions across their business.

Due to the rapid expansion of the business, we have an opportunity for a Customer Marketing Manager to join one of the region’s most innovative and in-demand start-ups, working with world-leading customers such as Sky, Warner, Starbucks, Unilever and Nespresso.

What does the role involve?

 

The purpose of this role is to own our customer and product marketing strategies with the goal of driving user adoption of the Relative Insight platform and supporting long term customer growth and retention. The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for generating and amplifying content (email campaigns, how to guides, training videos etc.) to drive engagement throughout the customer journey. They will also play a key role in bringing new product features to market and creating a platform for engaging with our most important customer stakeholders.


To be successful, you’ll need to be a strong written and verbal communicator with a knack for simplifying complex concepts into easy-to-understand soundbites while adding a dose of creativity to capture the attention of our audiences. Effective collaboration with the account management and product teams will be essential.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead product marketing strategy through the development of go-to-market messaging and resources for Relative Insight including the launch of new modules and features.
  • Own the Relative Insight Help Centre – our resource hub that includes how to guides and other content to aid customers in using Relative Insight independently
  • Expand our user training programme by developing interactive training modules in our e-learning platform
  • Grow usage of the platform by owning the customer email marketing process including content writing, automation using CRM systems and optimization A/B testing
  • Logistics and promotion for our ‘VIP club’ events designed to engage key customer stakeholders
  • Seek out opportunities for customer advocacy including case studies and other co-branded content in partnership with the account management teams
  • Execute customer feedback campaigns (surveys and reviews)
  • Conduct market and competitor research to further our understanding of our target audiences, articulate and refine our product positioning and enable sales and account management teams with necessary talking points and marketing collateral


What we’d like to see:


  • 2-3 years working in a B2B marketing environment, preferably in a software company
  • An inquisitive product nerd who enjoys learning new technologies and teaching others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a demonstrated ability to breakdown complex concepts into easy-to-understand soundbites that resonate with target audiences
  • Experience managing and optimizing email marketing campaigns in a CRM system
  • A creative streak - someone who can sprinkle a little bit of magic to capture the attention of our audiences…


Bonus points for:


  • Experience using ChurnZero, HubSpot and/or Intercom
  • Familiarity with the world of analytics, insights and research
  • Experience creating video content or an interest in learning
  • Familiarity with corporate events
