Due to the rapid expansion of the business, we have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our new office in Philadelphia, Relative Insight is one of the most innovative and in-demand start-ups, working with world-leading customers such as Starbucks, Unilever and Nespresso.

What does the role involve?

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business by generating new logo subscriptions. You’ll be capable of simultaneously managing multiple complex sales pursuits while demonstrating quality sales acumen and positively promoting Relative’s brand.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Running demos booked by BDEs.
  • Setting your own demos from cold and your network, then sitting them.
  • Converting and working leads provided by marketing & events.
  • Contract & pricing negotiations.
  • Coaching and mentoring your BDE.

The role will grow into owning and running your own sales pipeline alongside supporting BDE's - working directly with prospects on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for a bi-monthly quota and also required to give input and ideas to the other teams across the business such as product, marketing and operations.

What experience do we look for?

  • 6 - 12 months BDM experience 
  • A desire to work in new business sales long term
  • An understanding/an appetite to work in a true start-up environment
  • Extremely well organised
  • Genuine interest in new tech and new innovation
